$1,500 in Rebates for upgrading your attic insulation from GreenOn

A well-insulated home is one of the most cost-effective ways to save energy and reduce heating and cooling bills.

Ontario homeowners are now eligible to receive up to $1500 money back for the cost of upgrading their attic insulation.

Who are eligible:

Ontario residents who live in a detached home, townhome or semi can take part in GreenON Rebates. If you rent, you must have the written permission of the landlord.

How it works:

  • We insulate your home.
  • File the paperwork and submit it.
  • The government reimburses you within approximately 8-12 weeks.

$1,600 in Rebates from Enbridge/Union Gas

Upgrade your old HVAC equipment to a new high-efficiency one and get money back. Buy a High-Efficiency Furnace and Air conditioner  and get back up to $1,600 in rebates/incentives.

Home Energy Conservation Program is delivered by Enbridge Gas Distribution in partnership with the Government of Ontario and Save On Energy.

Heating system

  • $1,600 for replacing a furnace for a 95% or higher AFUE condensing natural gas, propane or oil furnace.

How the process works

  1. Have an energy audit performed by a registered auditor
  2. Choose your home energy upgrades
  3. Contact your Registered Energy Advisor to complete your post-energy audit
  4. Apply for your rebate (1st Air can help you)

Get up to $5,800 for an Air-Source Heat Pump*

The Green Ontario program is offering some rebates to help you upgrade to a high-efficiency heat pump. Air-Source Heat Pump uses the outside air to heat and cool your home.

  • Ductless air source heat pump: up to $1,900 in rebates
  • Ductless multi-zone air source heat pump: up to $4,250 in rebates
  • Ducted air source heat pump: up to $3,250 in rebates
  • Cold climate ductless air source heat pump: up to $2,500 in rebates
  • Cold climate ductless multi-zone air source heat pump: up to $5,800 in rebates
  • Cold climate ducted air source heat pump: up to $5,500 in rebates

Save Up to $850 On Energy Efficient Air Conditioners and Furnaces

Upgrade to more energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment with the following rebates:

  • $250 to replace an old furnace with a high-efficiency furnace equipped with an electronically commutated motor.
  • Up to $600 to purchase and install new ENERGY STAR® certified central air conditioning systems that meet specific efficiency ratings.

Please note: To qualify for an Enbridge Rebate, you must be replacing a mid-efficiency furnace & a pre- and a post-installation Energy Audit must and will be arranged with a Certified Energy Advisor.
